I was able to find out a little information about the Weapon Leveling Glitch that has been happening since the 1.18 update was introduced to Call of Duty Black Ops 4. I reached out to some devs from treyarch and they actually responded. It looks like the the Weapon Leveling Glitch will be fixed in the next big 1.19 update for CoD BO4, so later this month or at the start of the next event in july.
