A new Easter Egg Quest has been discovered on the Black Ops 4 Zombies map IX with some VERY interesting possible rewards once we complete it!

1. The new Easter Egg on IX features a person crying that requires you to interact with them several times in different areas of the map. Once you intact with them enough times they will start saying quotes asking for your assistance in freeing them. They explain that whoever trapped them (possibly the Masked man form the Ending Cutscene) are using mechanisms that can only be released by solving certain riddles.
The reward for this Easter Egg quest is currently unknown but there are several leading theories. The first is that this is part of the quest to upgrade the Shield on IX which we know is in the game for sure. The Secord is that this is a standalone side Easter Egg with a unique reward at its end. The third and most compelling is that completing this Easter Egg may alter the story of our characters on IX resulting in an alternate ending cutscene for the map!

2. For a short period of time yes day evening the earn rate of Nebulium Plasma in Call of Duty Black Ops 4 Zombies was turned way up. giving playing much more then it was supposed to. This seemed to scale by rank meaning players like SliqKilla who is a Prestige Master in Zombies manages to get 888 Neblulium Plasma form a single game! The earning f Nebulium Plasma was turned off by Treyarch shortly after this glitch was discovered and it is now been returned back to normal.

3. Treyarch released a game update for Black Ops 4 Zombies that separated the public playlists for the Aether storyline into Blood of the Dead and Classified. Players on the PC are currently experiencing issues getting into Classified matches through the public playlist however.
