Why are Nazis and Nazi uniforms so damned popular now? Ever since it was announced that they would be left out of Call of Duty WWII for pretty obvious PR reasons, tons of weird Nazi admirers have come out of the woodworks to demand swastika be added back in. On top of that, I see and increase of Neo-Nazi and white nationalism activity in real life too. Normally this would be met with universal disdain but instead they are being sympathized with or considered not that bad. Am I drunk? Or maybe high? Like yeah, I get it that not being able to play as Nazis in CoD WWII is kinda lame but I’m not going to cry about not playing as Hitler or whatever. They way Nazis are defended or demanding inclusion in games is very weird and annoying to me.
