Guys I ain’t gonna lie, this is probably the biggest COD story in a long long time and it is not a good one for fans of the Aether story. As Treyarch switches to development of Black Ops 5 it leaves me worried for the future of Black Ops 4 Zombies DLC 3 & 4.
With Activision expecting Treyarch to develop and release Call of Duty Black Ops 5 in just over a year from now we in the Zombies community have to wonder in the developers behind the conclusion to the decade long Aether story to be told in upcoming DLC maps will be given the appropriate amount of time and resources to give the story its due.
That being said some fans may be happy that Treyarch Zombies will be returning in some form earlier than expected but it may come at the cost of the rumoured Black Ops 4 Zombies Season Pass 2 that would have been released following DLC 4.
