Call of Duty Warzone & Black Ops Cold War Skill-Based-Matchmaking Pay-to-Win Exposed… #shorts
Today, we are talking about a rumour that the Skill Based Matchmaking system in Call of Duty Warzone / Modern Warfare & Black Ops Cold War’s multiplayer increases the likelihood of getting in easier lobbies (albeit not a great deal but there is definitely correlation). This would technically make the game somewhat pay-to-win, even though the main goal from Activision is to simply boost player retention. I don’t think that Activision actually wants people to know about this as a way to encourage people to buy microtransactions, but rather, this is part of the complex algorithm aimed to give you dopamine highs and lows to boost the average player-time and keep you addicted.
