We’ll go over the Black Ops 4 20hz tickrate situation in detail as well as covering Treyarch’s response to player frustration about the server downgrade. I think this type of action while on the surface makes sense for a stable launch, is a really bad practice. I can’t remember the last game in which the beta had better performance than the final release. I’m still really enjoying Black Ops 4 but this has been a blemish on an otherwise really fun title.
