DESCRIPTION: Welcome to Part 31 of “Old Features Call of Duty hasn’t had in Years”. Today’s feature is Branching Storylines. Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 was the first COD game to have a branching storyline in the Campaign, where player choices would directly affect the outcome of the game’s campaign. Most Call of Duty games have a linear story, but this made BO2 unique. Treyarch sort of brought this back in Black Ops Cold War by having multiple endings, and it looks like Black Ops 7 could possibly have this since the butterfly effect is being hinted at in the teaser trailer. I think having branching storylines would be awesome to have in the newer COD games!
