I’ve hated CoD for years: new skin, same old shit. But Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 feels fresh in a way I never could have expected, and the inclusion of the excellent Blackout mode makes BO4 one of the best shooters in years, and certainly the best Call of Duty in a long-arse time.
Note: I forgot to mention spawns. Yeah- they suck, but they don’t ruin the game for me. Not even close. I’m sure Treyarch will fix them, but for now- yeah, they blow.
