A former Raven Software developer claims on his LinkedIn that in 2011, Raven was working on a COD Zombies live services game until Treyarch cancelled it. He was the Lead Director on the project, and oversaw it whilst it was in development for 8 months between November 2011 and June 2012. This was the Standalone Call of Duty Zombies game that we have always wanted, but as a live service game, which is extremely ambitious to have been attempted back during the Xbox 360 and PS3 eras. This leads us to discuss on the what could have beens, and if this was a good decision in the end or a bad one.
