Another year, another call of duty beta. I’ll be honest, I haven’t really been looking forward to Black Ops 4. Despite this I was curious how it played, although I didn’t pre-order it for beta access. Luckily for me Activision gave me a key so I thought I’d cast my sketism aside and give it a proper go.
Going into this beta I had a lot of questions. Would a heavy emphasis on objective game types and team play work with call of duty’s formula. Is more starting health and manual healing really something we need. Why are treyarch doubling down on specialists when a large portion of the community hate them. And how would all of this affect the game’s trademark fast pacing?
