Ranking Every COD Game (Worst to Best) Since its launch in 2004, Call of Duty has been a massively successful franchise, releasing a new game annually. Fans’ opinions on which installment is the best are as diverse as their opinions on how prolific the series is. I had originally intended to make a “Top 10 Best COD Games” video, but I’ve made the decision to just go right into it and rank every single Call of Duty game, taking everything into account. Just to be clear, though, I will only be taking into account games released after 2007 because that is when COD4 made its debut and created the current Call of Duty formula. Since the pre-COD4 and post-COD4 titles pursued different goals, which is entirely legitimate, comparing them would be unfair. Still, there are a good seventeen mainline COD games left for us to assess. So, since this will be a long journey, grab a snack.
