Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 was a very polarizing game; it lacked a Campaign, but then had Specialist Stories. It had Multiplayer, but it didn’t innovate and had terrible micro transactions again. It had Battle Royale, but it barely competed with Fortnite.
Black Ops 4 will be remembered not for what it did, but what it didn’t do.
It failed to innovate, and even with so much recycled content it failed to be a “fan favorite” Black Ops game due to neglecting community feedback.
The game was honestly a mess, but I’m hoping that Treyarch can redeem themselves with Call of Duty 2020.
I know that they have the potential to make a great COD game, and the actual innovation happening in Modern Warfare will force them to step up their game again…
The intent of this video is not negative in the slightest. Critical, maybe, but not negative. I want Black Ops 4 to RIP with the best moments I had playing it over this last year or so, and we can all look forward to Modern Warfare 2019 very soon! ^-^
