So… The last 24-36 hours for Call of Duty fans has been a weird one. Season 5 was coming tonight? Season 5 was delayed? What’s the deal with Season 5, huh? Well, Call of Duty Warzone and Black Ops Cold War’s coming content may not be on time, but it’s not by much. Cold War was meant to launch this past evening, but instead has been pushed to later tonight while COD Warzone has been pushed back 24 hours as well, bringing the total shift on Warzone Season 5 to a mere 24 hours. Is that a bummer? Absolutely, but it’s not particularly the end of the world. Today we’re going to break down why you may be seeing this delay in new content for COD Cold War and Warzone.
