The concept of a true remaster of Modern Warfare 2 Remaster has been thrown around for YEARS and in fact, we thoguht we were so close to getting one back in 2020 when we had the campaign drop as a remaster out of nowhere following the remaster of COD 4. Strangely, Modern Warfare 3 has never been seen, but neither has the multiplayer of 2009’s Modern Warfare 2. But… What if, we had the chance to play a remaster of the classic and then some. Well, that’s exactly what a development team of a few people have been working towards, a completely free Modern Warfare 2 Remaster that we deserve. Today, we’re breaking it down and letting you know all you need to about SM2 or SM squared, the fan created, community focused project.
